Keys to the Kingdom

* We only have one enemy, and it is not each other

* God wants us to come together in unity in Jesus, even when there isn’t a uniformity of theology

* A Christian leader is someone who lays down his or her life life for those he/she leads (influences)

* Every saint has a past and every sinner has a future. Because of this, we must learn to forgive each other, accept God's forgiveness, and forgive ourselves

Love God. Love each other

Understanding Collective Impact Projects

Understanding Collective Impact Projects

Our goal is to be of service to you in helping you to collaborate in managing your project, activity and/or event. In this section we will show you how to set things up. But first here are the elements that involve making a Collective Impact Project a success.

The Five Conditions of Collective Impact Success

Collective impact is more rigorous and specific than collaboration among organizations. There are five conditions that, together, lead to meaningful results from collective impact:

  1. Common Agenda: All participants share a vision for change that includes a common understanding of the problem and a joint approach to solving the problem through agreed-upon actions.
  2. Shared Measurement: All participating organizations agree on the ways success will be measured and reported, with a short list of common indicators identified and used for learning and improvement.
  3. Mutually Reinforcing Activities: A diverse set of stakeholders, typically across sectors, coordinate a set of differentiated activities through a mutually reinforcing plan of action.
  4. Continuous Communication: All players engage in frequent and structured open communication to build trust, assure mutual objectives, and create common motivation.
  5. Backbone Support: An independent, funded staff dedicated to the initiative provides ongoing support by guiding the initiative’s vision and strategy, supporting aligned activities, establishing shared measurement practices, building public will, advancing policy, and mobilizing resources.

Collective Impact Projects (CIP)

Collective Impact Projects is your first step in finding out what current project s are in place and what information is available to you. This is also one of your first opportunities to join a project area or project category.

CIP's are broken down into the following two major categories - Spheres of Influence areas:

The Spheres of Influence Category includes the following areas:

     * Faith Communities
     * Family
     * Government
     * Education
     * Business
     * Media
     * Arts & Entertainment
     * Health Care & Nutrition
     * Neighborhoods
     * Other

Project Objectives

Within the project categories each project is defined by its Project Objective. The Project Objectives will let people know what the main objective that is to be accomplished. Each objective contains Strategies, Actions and Discussions.

     Project Strategies - Strategies are the plans and activities that need to be accomplished in
           order to fulfill the objectives.
     Actions: Actions are the activities/tasks needed to be accomplished in order to accomplish the
          strategies. This is where the plans hit the road of practicality.
