PRAYER FIRST INITIATIVE

  • VISION: The City Servants walking with the Lord, keeping short accounts, listening and staying in tune, being in the right place at the right time, and speaking the Word of the Lord. This vision requires daily walking and analysis of what is heard, listening for course correction and unity opportunities, parting the waters, positioning ourselves where we can’t achieve anything without the Lord, and speaking the Word to transform.

PURPOSE: To understand how God wants us to build His Kingdom in greater Cincinnati. This purpose requires an acknowledgement that we cannot build the Kingdom, but rather that we prepare ourselves and others for the King’s return, resulting in God’s light being dispersed out from Cincinnati.

MISSION: To recruit volunteers who make this vision and purpose their primary role on each Objective team. People who are not too busy planning, organizing, and researching to pray and wait on the Lord in silence and in worship. People who recognize the battle we are in when it comes to doing God’s business God’s way; i.e.- being watchful of political handshakes that have the effect of yielding influence to non-kingdom people.

  FAITH COMMUNITIES
COLLECTIVE IMPACT PROJECT

UNITY OF THE BODY OF CHRIST, EVIDENCED BY 300 PASTORS WILLING TO BE IN A COVENANT RELATIONSHIP OF LOVE, TRUST AND PARTNERSHIP TO FOLLOW JESUS TOGETHER

  • Strategy #1 – Supporting common objectives with unbelieving groups: We, the church, may come together with the non-believing groups for common purposes for the goal of accomplishing that purpose, but also to build an intentional relationship as a bridge with the non-believer to help them to know Jesus

  • Strategy #2 – Develop a general written covenant to be signed by pastors centered around mercy and compassion for greater Cincinnati.

  • Strategy #3 – Facilitate geographic-based roundtable meetings to invite key pastors and leaders to attend and discuss how to impact the Spheres of Influence and Kingdom Priorities within that common unity, or community.

  • Strategy #4 – Determine all measurements in outcomes desired and track results, to include increased number of attendance in churches, with the same or even smaller number of churches; increased number of professions of faith; increased number of multi-racial churches; increased number of mainline churches involved in stewarding and participating; reputation of a city that worships together; use something like Transformational Leadership to increase covenant relationships; and 60-70% of churches praying for and involved in Kingdom efforts
